DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisted in the daily care of children and assisted with meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, ironing, etc.
• Provided support to families by assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and medication reminders.
• Maintained a clean and safe environment for clients and staff through proper use of equipment and procedures related to infection control practices.
• Followed all agency policies & procedures regarding safety & security including but not limited to background checks on employees & visitors at all times when children are present or unattended in any area of the facility where they may be located during work hours.
• Performed other duties as assigned by supervisor/director which may include transporting children from one activity to  another within the building or outside activities off-site if needed (i.e., field trips).
